In the Intensive Care Unit

Even though there were relatively few patients transferred to intensive care considering the total number of people who contracted the virus, the image of intubated patients left a lasting impression on the collective consciousness. Professionals have been working on and improving the way this complex care is provided for years, through clinical research and transmission of know-how.

The army was also called in for reinforcement. Soldiers (on the left) are learning the gestures that will be part of their daily routine over the next few weeks.

Four photographers from the CHUV received the mission to capture the way the health crisis was handled in the hospital centre from every possible angle.
